Slide Show: Fairy Houses

Thanks to Fairy & Troll House building day at the West Tisbury Library, kids came out by the dozens on Saturday to put together the most creative dwellings such creatures will ever find.

Using only materials found in nature - sticks, moss, pine cones, shells, children built one and two story houses; houses with pools and swing sets; houses with meandering paths and tall trees.

Grown ups served as helpers, builders and gatherers - many as involved in the set up as their kids.

It was a fantastic event enjoyed by all, made even more glorious by the sun and warm temps.
