MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — A 26-year-old man has died and a second man is still missing after a group of swimmers jumped off the "Jaws bridge" on Martha's Vineyard late Sunday night.
The four swimmers jumped off the bridge — officially named the American Legion Bridge, a connection between Edgartown and Oak Bluffs — after 11 p.m. Sunday. Two of the swimmers made it out of the water safely.
The man who died and the still-missing swimmer are brothers, and were living on Martha's Vineyard for the season, according to reports.

State and Environmental police mounted an air and water search for the missing swimmer on Monday, and will return to look again Tuesday.
The bridge plays a prominent role in the 1975 movie in a scene where Jaws swims underneath to attack a boater in Sengekontacket Pond.
