Our Visions for Vacancies is a weekly feature where you can weigh in with your ideas about what kind of businesses you’d like to see occupying empty storefronts around town.

Each week, we’ll highlight a vacant building, storefront or structure and we’ll leave it to the Island community to sound off on what you’d like to see there.

This week we're featuring the location of the original . It's amazing to see how much this store has grown since its humble surfer beginnings.

The space has since held a down-Island Pandora's Box and it has served as a lovely holiday pop up shop during the holidays.

If you could see anything move into this space, what would it be? Don't worry about zoning restrictions - this is purely an exercise of the Island's imagination.
