Attack Dog, Hanging Limb, Missing Neighbor, Alarming Dog, and More

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Here's a look at the Medfield police log for July 26, 2013. 

Friday, July 26

6:11 a.m., station. Walk-in report of an erratic driver on Route 27 heading toward Sherborn. Sherborn Police were notified.

6:13 a.m. and 9:02 a.m., Hearthstone Drive. ADT alarm company reported an alarm going off at this house. The alarm was tripped again at 9:02 a.m. There is a dog loose in the house which could be the problem. Someone is on their way to take care of the dog and reset the alarm. 

8:54 a.m., Brook Street. E911 caller requested an ambulance for a girl who said she cannot see or hear anything. At 8:56 a.m., a man called back to cancel the ambulance because the girl's mother was on her way to pick her up. 

11:40 a.m., Arnold Drive. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle (2011 Honda CRV) has been parked in front of her house for two hours with no one in it. The vehicle is not stolen. Driver could be at a neighbor's house. No phone number listed for the owner. 

1:36 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a car accident between a 2008 Jeep Wrangler and a 2013 Honda Pilot. No personal injury.

3 p.m., West Mill Street and Adams Street. Caller reported a large limb hanging down in the road on West Mill Street near Adams Street. Highway Department will remove. 

5:11 p.m., Rustic Lane. Caller said she was attacked by a dog at the Wheelock School field on Thursday (July 25). Animal Control was notified.

7:38 p.m., Linden Court. Caller requested a well-being check on his upstairs neighbor. The lights are on but he hasn't seen the homeowner all day. Police requested the ambulance to respond, they have a key to this house. The house was checked but nobody was home. 

10:06 p.m., North Street. Walk-in report of a car accident in front of the police/fire station. A man walked in and said a woman had just hit his car. The vehicles were a 2008 Volvo C70 and a 2013 Fiat 500.
