Choking Baby, Harassing Neighbor, Problem Racoon

Wednesday, Feb. 6

6:55 a.m., West Street. Accidental alarm at business by employees.

8 a.m., Pine Street and Hawthorne Drive. Caller reported a Shepherd mix with a harness running around the neighborhood. Animal Control notified.

8:15 a.m., West Street. Accidental alarm at business by workers moving furniture.

8:22 a.m., Turner Hill Road. Accidental alarm by homeowner.

12:23 p.m., Donnelly Drive. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle (tan Ford Explorer) that keeps driving up and down the street. Gone on arrival.

1:33 p.m., South Street. Accidental E911 call.

3:45 p.m., Main Street and Pound Street. Caller reported an erratic driver (in a 2003 Mercury Marquis) going east on Main Street, now near Pound Street. No Medfield officers available but the Westwood Police Department was notified.

3:45 p.m., North Street. Caller asked to speak with the Animal Control Officer about a problem she is having with a racoon that is living in her barn. 

4:10 p.m., South Street. Walk-in report about an ongoing problem with a neighbor. Woman will go to court for a harassment order. 

5:27 p.m., Cedar Lane. E911 caller requested an ambulance for a baby who is choking and crying. While parties were on the phone, the baby stopped choking. Medfield Ambulance responded; no transport needed.

5:35 p.m., South Street. Caller asked to see an offider about a car that is parked in the wrong spot and owner will not move it. Police spoke with all parties and the vehicle will be moved. At 6:07 p.m., police said the vehicle had been moved. 

7 p.m., North Street. Fire page and tone test.

7:25 p.m., Main Street. Accidental alarm at business by employees.
