Dogs Live Shorter Lives in Massachusetts
According to a new study, dogs in Massachusetts have shorter life spans than in other states.
According to a recent report by the Banfield Pet Hospital, the country's largest veterinary hospital chain, dogs in Massachusetts have a shorter lifespan than almost any other state, reports wbur.com.
Banfield's chart shows that Massachusetts dogs live an average of 10.6 years, and that only four other states have shorter life spans: Delaware (10.5), Louisiana (10.4), Alabama (10.2) and Mississippi (10.1).
