MEMO Summer Concert CANCELLED Tonight
Tonight's concert is cancelled due to the weather.

The Medfield Public Library will be presenting, "The Pagemaster" (rated G) with Macauley Culkin, starting at 6:15 p.m. The movie is 75 minutes long.

The Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization summer concert series starts tonight, according to MEMO's website.
The concerts will be held at the Town Gazebo (between the library and the Zullo Gallery) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In case of rain cancellation, the library will host a family movie night starting at 6:15 p.m. and the notice of cancellation will be posted on MEMO's website and on Medfield TV (Verizon 47 and Comcast 8).

This year's program -- sponsored by Needham Bank -- will feature:
June 13: Infractions (Hosted by Personal Best Karate)
Featuring the “Happening Horns,” this seven member group has been a mainstay in the nightclub, college, wedding and concert scene for more than 7 years. Their music ranges from horn-driven Funk and Hip-Hop to contemporary Ska and Swing. They also infuse in their mix alternative Rock, old school 70′s, and material from the Big 80′s.
June 20: Medfield High School Jazz Ensemble (Hosted by Noon Hill Grill)
Medfield High School’s top jazz band – performed twice at the National Charles Mingus High School Bigband Competition and three times at the Essentially Ellington National High School Bigband Competition hosted by Wynton Marsalis. This spring they performed at the National Chinese Language Conference and also performed in Beijing, Anhui and Shanghai. With it’s 11th CD released this spring, they will entertain any jazz enthusiast!
June 27: Jeri Bergonzi (Hosted by Prudential Page Realty)
Medfield High School’s top jazz band – performed twice at the National Charles Mingus High School Bigband Competition and three times at the Essentially Ellington National High School Bigband Competition hosted by Wynton Marsalis. This spring they performed at the National Chinese Language Conference and also performed in Beijing, Anhui and Shanghai. July 4: The Grass Gypsys (Hosted by MEMO)
This eclectic local band has toured throughout America playing their original roots music. Their music ranges from upbeat rock n roll to country ballad to soulful jazz. They have released 3 full-length albums, and always bring a toe-tapping performance.
July 11: Songs for Ceilidh (Hosted by Middlesex Savings Bank)
A local Celtic band, Songs for Ceilidh, pronounced “Kay-Lee”, blends Celtic classics with Cape Breton inspired originals. They’ve shared the stage with “The Glengarry Boys” and “The Town Pants”. Their name says it all, ceilidh, a high energy, foot stomping party!
July 18: Acoustic Fire (Hosted by Rockland Trust)
Featuring Norwood singer Maria Breen, this band plays a wide variety of familiar rock, country-rock and dance music. They play with passion and finesse, blending driving rhythms with sophisticated guitar work, tight harmonies and great song choices. Rockin’ fun for all ages.
July 25: The Stacey Peasley Band (Beginning Years Child Development Center, and New 'N Towne)
One of Metrowest’s favorite family acts. Their catchy original music has garnered awards from the Parents’ Choice Foundation and Creative Child Magazine, as well as airplay on Sirius XM’s Kids’ Place Live and children’s radio programs across the country. Adults and children alike will sing and dance to their favorite Stacey Peasley songs.
August 1: Route 109 (Hosted by West Mill Smiles)
Come check out the smooth Jazz with Medfield resident, Shane Wood on piano and vocals, Neil Kruszkowski on saxophone and vocals and Bruce Owens on drums. The Trio plays a unique blend of jazz arrangements, including songs from contemporary artists and classic composers as well as original compositions.
August 8: Shane Wood Jazz Trio (Hosted by Lowell Mason Foundation)
Come check out the smooth Jazz with Medfield resident, Shane Wood on piano and vocals, Neil Kruszkowski on saxophone and vocals and Bruce Owens on drums. The Trio plays a unique blend of jazz arrangements, including songs from contemporary artists and classic composers as well as original compositions.
August 15: Super Cool Beans (Hosted by West Mill Smiles)
A children’s/family concert, these Beans are ready to bounce as they bring their freshly grown brand of interactive entertainment to a new crop of sprouts. Enhanced with entertaining props and special guest characters, a Super Cool Beans concert is sure to please. Come one, come all to Super Cool Beans!
