POLL: Gas Prices on the Rise in Massachusetts
Uncertainty in the Middle East has pushed up the price of crude oil, causing you to pay more at the pump.

As documented in Medfield Patch's weekly column, "," gasoline prices in Massachusetts are continuing to rise and are currently the highest they have been in eight months, rising an average of 13 cents for regular unleaded fuel over the last two weeks.
Tensions in the Middle East caused the surge, the Boston Herald reports, citing tough talk between Iran and the United States over the Strait of Hormuz, a major passage for oil exports.
In Medfield, prices are lower than the state average, with the exception of the Mobil on North Street, which is charging $3.44 per gallon of regular unleaded fuel. The current state average is $3.40 per gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
