Raffle, Auction Items Sought for Medfield Day 2014

Medfield Day 2014 event is just a week away, arriving on Saturday, Sept. 20, and organizers are currently looking to add items to a scholarship fund raffle and auction.

The Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization will hold its scholarship fund raffle and auction at its booth, the proceeds of which benefit MEMO’s scholarship fund. The annual scholarship is awarded to Medfield High School seniors and a qualifying Medfield resident graduating from Tri-County Regional High School.

Currently, there are 27 raffle items and five auction items with more expected to arrive by Medfield Day, according to this week’s announcement. Current auction items include a New England Patriots football signed by Rob Gronkowski and a baseball signed by Curt Schilling. Raffle items, meanwhile, include a Kuerig coffee brewer donated by the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home and gift certificates from Noon Hill Grille and Basil Restaurant, among other items.
