Suspended Driver Calls Police After Hitting Pole, Broken Mailboxes, Bats, and More
Here's a look at the police log for July 15 and July 16.

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Monday, July 15
9:40 a.m., Pound Street. A Tilden Village resident called an ambulance for his 79-year-old neighbor who was having trouble breathing due to the heat. Medfield Ambulance took the woman to Needham Hospital.
3:23 p.m., Trailside Road. Caller said she has a dog hanging around her house.
3:49 p.m., Main Street. Caller said he has a bat in his office. Animal Control responded.
6:06 p.m., Pine Street. E911 caller reported a man lying on Pine Street. Medfield Ambulance responded, and Westwood Ambulance took him to Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston.
10:16 p.m., Hillcrest Road. Caller reported a load bang a couple houses up from him. Nothing found.
Tuesday, July 16
2:53 a.m., High Street. Caller reported she hit a telephone pole on Route 27 just past South Street, and police discovered she was driving with a suspended license. Police are now seeking a summons for a 24-year-old woman, who lives on High Plain Street in North Walpole, to be charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
8:11 a.m., Millbrook Road. Caller reported larceny at their house.
3 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a Nissan station wagon parked in the lot near Marshall's with a dog in it and its windows rolled up. Animal Control responded.
4:30 p.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller reported an empty baby stroller near the door to Old Medfield Square. He is putting it inside in case anyone calls.
4:35 p.m., Knollwood Road. Caller reported loud fireworks in the area. All quiet now.
6:28 p.m., North Street. Walk-in request for a temporary restraining order.
8:31 p.m., Carol Ann Drive. Caller reported a man going door to door selling insecticide. She said he was also at her house the day before and his car is parked in front of her house. Gone on arrival.
10:01 p.m., Hearthstone Drive. E911 caller said his girlfriend called him to say there was a man at her house. During the time police responded, the man called back to say he misunderstood his girlfriend and there was a bat in the house.
11:16 p.m., Harding Street. Caller said that something was thrown at his car and broke his windshield while he was driving on Harding Street near Hospital Road.
11:42 p.m., Oriole Road. Caller reports his neighbor's mailbox was just smashed.
11:45 p.m., Wilkins Glen. E911 caller said her two-year-old son was having an allergic reaction. Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.
11:47 p.m., Garry Drive. Caller said her mailbox was just smashed after she heard a car pull up and kids laughing. Gone on arrival.
