Water Tank Hornets, Dad Fell Out of Bed, Basement Waste, Etc.

Here's a glance at the police log for Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday, April 24

7:24 a.m., Indian Hill Road. E911 caller requested someone from the sewer department; his basement was filling up with waste.

8:09 a.m., West Street. Caller reported a disabled motor vehicle (1999 Jeep Wrangler) at North Meadows Road. Town truck enroute.

10:12 a.m., West Mill Street. Caller said the railroad tracks on West Mill Street near Adams Street were lifting up. Police said they look fine.

10:45 a.m., Ledgetree Road. Caller said her mailbox was damaged on April 15. 

12:41 p.m., South Street. E911 caller said her father fell out of bed and she is on her way home. Medfield Ambulance responded and helped him up.

7:13 p.m., Woodridge Road. Caller asked for an ambulance; patient taken to Norwood Hospital.

7:33 p.m., Medfield State Hospital. Security called police to report that the electrical box at the bottom of the water tank is open and there is a hornets' nest inside. Police responded.

10:03 p.m., Oak and Pleasant Streets. Caller reported a low-hanging wire on Pleasant Street near Oak Street. Police said it was a piece of covering on a wire which he removed. 

Thursday, April 25 

9:05 a.m., Main and Pound Streets. Caller reported a car accident with no personal injury. Office said, when he arrived, the two were driving away. 

9:56 a.m., Main Street. E911 caller said she is having a problem with her 20-year-old daughter. Peace restored. 

10:00 a.m., station. Police issued two burning permits.

11:46 a.m., Main Street. Caller behind CVS requested an ambulance for his brother, 54, who had fallen out of his pickup truck. Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

10:37 p.m., Spring Street. Caller said there was a tanker dropping off gas after 9 p.m. last night at a nearby gas station.
