Don't hate the messenger but there is just one month of summer vacation left before the first day of school.
According to the Medfield Public School District's calendar, the first day of school for grades 1 to 12 is Tuesday, Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day.
Students will attend school Tuesday, Wednesday, have Thursday (Sept. 5) off for Rosh Hashanah, then back on Friday.
What are your thoughts on starting school after (or before) Labor Day? We asked the question in June and got a variety of answers after the school committee said it would poll parents in the fall to get their opinion on the question. What do you think? Tell us in the comment section below.
