Don't hate the messenger but there is just one month of summer vacation left before the first day of school.  <a href="http://medfield.net/attachments/article/129/district_calendar_2013-14.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">According to the Medfield Public School District's calendar</a>, the first day of school for grades 1 to 12 is Tuesday, Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day.  Students will attend school Tuesday, Wednesday, have Thursday (Sept. 5) off for Rosh Hashanah, then back on Friday.
