An Election Tomorrow; Medford Remembers 9/11

Good morning, here's five things to know today:
Mayoral Primary Tomorrow: Polls will be open for a Mayoral primary from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow. The top two vote-getters between incumbent Michael McGlynn, and challengers Anthony D'Antonio and will advance to the general election in November.
The city held a service to remember 9/11/2001 at Morrison Park Sunday morning. Mayor Michael McGlynn, Rep. Ed Markey and several local veterans addressed the crowd gathered in the park.

Warmer, Chance of T-Storms: Highs are expected to be in the low 80s today, with a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms in the early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Mostly sunny with highs in the 80s tomorrow.
School Committee Back in Action: The school committee returns to its regular meeting schedule, starting tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The committee is expected to be given a report on the closeout of the 2011 budget, and also have a discussion on school policy on emails and the internet for use by personnel.

Green Line Extension Meetings in Boston Tomorrow: Following news that the Green Line Extension won't be completed until 2018 or later, the state's Department of Environmental Protection will hold two public meetings tomorrow to accept comments on the project's status report. The meetings will be held at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the DEP offices at 1 Winter Street.
