WAKEFIELD - Police are searching for a man who robbed the East Savings Bank on Main Street in Wakefield Thursday afternoon, according to Wakefield Police. The man entered the bank around 3 p.m., and passed a bank teller a note demanding money. The man's note said he had a weapon, although no weapon was shown at the time of the incident, according to police. The suspect fled the business and left driving down Albion Street in a car described by witnesses as a black Honda. The suspect was described as 6'3", wearing a baseball cap, jeans, and sneakers.

: The Reading Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Mobil Mart located at the corner of Main Street and Summer Avenue on . The suspect used a hypodermic needle to commit the robbery and got away with $260.

A Stoneham man was arraigned Monday in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on charges alleging that he set his girlfriend on fire this summer, according to a press statement issued by Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone's Office Tuesday.
