Good morning, here's five things to know today:

A Medford man was arrested in Boston Monday after he allegedly karate chopped a police officer during a protest of Donald Rumsfeld. Shaun Joseph, 31 of Medford is charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.

School officials criticized the way Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System test results are analyzed during a public hearing to review the district's scores Monday night. "We have a society that’s crazy about rankings…," Superintendent Roy Belson said. "Because they rank people, they’ve created this craze that somehow you can score this (standardized scores) like a baseball game.”

Soccer Times Two Today: The boys and girls high school teams host home games at 4 p.m. today. Both teams play East Boston.

Medford police received eight reports of alleged breaking and entering between Sept. 23 and Sept. 25, according to the police log. One breaking and entering report was logged in the police public journal Friday, three on Saturday and four on Sunday.
