Campbell Family Expresses Relief at Suspect Capture
Medford native's grandmother told Boston Herald suspect was "a snake" and was afraid he'd get away.

Members of Krystle Campbell's family expressed a sense of relief to Boston newspapers after the capture of a suspect Friday night in the Boston Marathon bombing that claimed the 29-year-old Medford native's life.
A woman who answered the phone at the Somerville home of Campbell's grandmother, Lillian, declined comment Saturday afternoon when reached by Patch.
Lillian Campbell spoke to the Boston Herald Friday evening after , after a nearly 24-hour manhunt. The other suspect, Tsarnaev's brother, Tamerlan, 26, was killed in a shootout with police early Friday.

"He was a snake, wiggling through the ground, and I was afraid he got away," Campbell told the Herald. Instead, she said she can now "go on with my life" and prayed that everything would work out.
Krystle Campbell's brother, William III, spoke to the Boston Globe after the capture Friday evening and while pleased that "nobody else is going to get hurt" by the suspects, he acknowledged "it’s not going to bring (Krystle) back."

William III said he'd been trying to "shut out reality a little bit" and remarked that it was actually good that he lost power for a period of time Saturday.
Krystle Campbell's wake will be held Sunday at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
