If elected, what would be your top priority on the city council?
I want to continue working to ensure a new City re-use of the historical Brooks Estates …to ensure Chevalier Auditorium as a theatre and cultural arts destination …. to keep advocating for timely tree stump removal, more street sweeping, more yard waste and bulk item pickups and more street and sidewalk striping for public safety …. for annual, new, police cruiser rotataion … to rid the ridiculous $100.00 per year permit parking fee (thirty eight cents per day) for all day parkers, which has greatly taken away from our downtown business customers’ usage …to support a desperately needed, long range, well-balanced technology upgrading for our schools, police, fire and municipal buildings in concert with a capital improvement plan addressing public building upgrades.
