Crucial Medford Commission Looking To Fill 2 Vacant Seats

The positions come with a yearly stipend.

MEDFORD, MA — The city announced that it is looking to fill two openings on the Water and Sewer Commission.

The Water and Sewer Commission works with internal city departments and the public to serve Medford. The Commission plays an intricate role in establishing the yearly water and sewer rates, enforcing the water and sewer regulations, and working with the public to find a solution to any water and sewer billing issues that they may encounter.

The two vacant positions include an annual stipend of $950. The commission is a subsidiary of the Department of Public Works. The current remaining members are Chair Domenic Carrera and Secretary Danae Kristiansen. While one position has been vacant for a relatively extended period of time, the other came open after member Michael Mastrobuoni was elected to the School Committee this past November and officially became a member in January.
