Medford Coronavirus Update: 100+ Deaths Reported
Here is the latest on the coronavirus response in Medford.
MEDFORD, MA — The total number of coronavirus cases in Medford has risen to 979, according to the latest numbers from the city. Of those, three are new cases. There have been 126 deaths attributed to the virus in Medford, according to the city's estimate.
Restaurants will be able to offer outdoor dining at the start of Phase 2 of reopening. City officials are working to interpret the governor's order, review and adjust local policies and enact a streamlined way for restaurants to apply for outdoor table service.

Phase 2 could start as early as June 8, officials said. In addition to outdoor dining, it will include child care, pickup for retail businesses, summer camps and outdoor activities.
