MEDFORD, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Medford Firefighters Local 1032 President Walter Buckley, who nominated fellow firefighter Brian Cronin for "working tirelessly ensuring the health and welfare of Medford Firefighters during this pandemic."

Brian is working tirelessly ensuring the health and welfare of Medford Firefighters during this pandemic. Helping to order PPE, researching guidelines and procedures for us and tracking calls to ensure our safely and well being. He has always been one to help others, but has gone above and behind during these trying times.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

Brian is not about Brian. He does not want the spotlight, he just wants what’s best for others. A real selfless person.
