Medford Schedules Public Forum On Racism

The mayor's administration will hold a virtual forum with the Medford Police Department and Human Rights Commission Wednesday.

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Police Department, Human Rights Commission and city administration will host a community conversation on racism Wednesday, June 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The public forum will be held over Zoom and focus on community dialogue, with attendees randomly assigned to Breakout Rooms to discuss topics such as how community policing can be effective in the community, what steps the city can and should take to end racism and residents' experience with racism.

Community members are encouraged to join in what is expected to be the first of many conversations on these issues.
