Mustang Rowers Win 2013 Championships

Both the girls and boys teams took home Greater Boston League titles.

The Medford High School boys and girls rowing teams were victorious in their quests to win their respective 2013 Greater Boston League Championships last Sunday, according a post on the school website.

The Mustangs competed against Malden, Cambridge Rindge and Latin and Somerville for the titles.

According to the post, the wins are historic because it's the first time a Cambridge team has been defeated for a GBL title on the girls' side and just the second non-Cambridge winner ever on the boys' side.
