Pet of the Week: Sookie Needs a Home

Meet Sookie, a 4-year-old female lab mix looking for a home.

She is a friendly girl who enjoys spending time with people. She spends a lot of her time here going for walks and doing obedience training with the shelter staff and volunteers.

Sookie does tend to be a bit anxious so requires a good amount of exercise to tire her out. On walks, Sookie shows great interest in small critters so the staff have been working on getting her to focus her attention and walk well on the leash.

For this reason, Sookie would prefer to go to a home without other animals including dogs. She has such a sweet disposition and would love to be able to relax in a new home.
