Police Log: Man Arrested Twice in 4 Days

A Medford man arrested Friday afternoon faces charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer.

On Monday, he was arrested again but on a drug charge, according to the Medford police log.

Joseph Durette, 24, was arrested on Fellsway West about noon Friday and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, according to the police log.

On Monday, Durette was arrested about 4:30 p.m. at 129 Glen Rock Road and charged with possession of a class A drug and an outstanding warrant, according to the log.

Durette was one of seven people arrested between Sept. 16 and Sept. 19.
