Police Log: Motor Vehicle Larceny, Breaking and Entering Arrests

A Somerville man faces four charges after allegedly breaking into a store then running from police.

Paul Silva, 45, was arrested just before 10 p.m. Friday near 8 Salem St., where police allege he broke into a nearby store, then ran when he was confronted by police. He is charged with destruction of property, breaking and entering, larceny from a building, and resisting arrest.

At about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police arrested Efrain Gonzalez-Zamora, 21, of Somerville, at 590 Main St. and charged him with larceny of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation.
