Suspects Sought After Car Crash, Shots Fired In Medford

Police are looking for suspects who fled the scene of a crash and shots fired on Sheperd Road Sunday.

MEDFORD, MA — Police are searching for suspects after reports of a car crash and shots fired in Medford Sunday. Officers responded to Sheperd Road and found two cars with damage consistent with a crash, according to a statement from city officials.

There were also "shell casings at the scene and evidence of bullet holes in at least one of the vehicles," the statement continued. The suspects fled the scene and had not been caught as of 10 p.m. Sunday.

Residents in the area were advised to remain in their homes. The investigation remains active, police said.
