Public Hearing on Comcast Rescheduled For May

The City of Medford's performance review of Comcast has been moved to May 7.

The following press release was issued by the City of Medford:

“Mayor Michael J. McGlynn, as statutory Issuing Authority for the City of Medford, MA, will conduct a public ascertainment hearing on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at the Medford City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Drive, Medford, MA.

“The purpose of the hearing will be to review the performance of one of the current cable television operators in Medford, Comcast, during its current license term and to hear testimony on future cable-related needs and interests of the Medford community. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and offer testimony on any cable-related matters.

“Any applications and reports to be
considered at the hearing are available for public inspection at the Medford City Hall during regular business hours and for reproduction at a reasonable fee. For more
information on the public hearing, please call the Mayor’s Office at (781) 393-2408.”
