
Police are searching for the suspect in an unarmed bank robbery on Locust Street Friday morning.
The suspect, described as a white male, about 5' 7" to 5' 11", entered Eastern Bank at 53 Locust St. about 10:55 a.m. and passed the teller a note demanding money, Medford Police Lt. Paul Covino said in an email.
The teller handed him an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot towards the Rockwell Avenue area near the Laprise Village Housing Development.

The man was described as wearing a zipper-front hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a dark colored Red Sox baseball cap, Covino said in the email.
