Previous Elected Experience:  Elected to School Committee in 2009 and voted Vice-Chairperson in 2010 of our current School Committee.

If elected, what would your top priority be on the School Committee?

My priorities would be to continue to push for smaller class size.  I would also continue updating our schools policies and procedures.  I will work to ensure that children have a safe learning environment from the bus, to the lunch room, to the classroom.  I will continue to advance our capital improvement plan upgrading the technology in our schools.  I will advocate to develop more programs that will bring revenue into our school system. (For example:  looking to re-open the pool at Medford High School)  I would sparehead a campaign to find the best and brightest teachers, administrators, and leaders into the Medford Public School System as many of our staff are moving toward retirement.
