If elected, what would your top priority be on the school committee?:

My top priority is and has been to ensure that every student has an optimal educational experience. Each student has a unique combination of strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Current best practices in teaching calls for “differentiated instruction,” meaning that the same material is presented in multiple ways to accommodate the different abilities and learning styles of students. This is not easy for our hard working teachers to achieve without adequate support. I will continue to advocate for the professional development, mentoring, and material resources needed so that all our teachers are incorporating this style of teaching in their classroom.
