Schools to Hold MCAS Meeting Tonight; Photos: Tufts Community Day

Good morning, here's five things to know today:
MCAS Meeting Tonight: The school committee will hold a special committee of the whole meeting at 7 p.m. tonight to discuss MCAS scores, which were released last week. The district's results are varied, but the high school scores were comparable to state averages in English and slightly below average in Math and Science. The meeting will take place in the library.

A Winchester man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly fled from the scene of two accidents in Medford while under the influence of prescription drugs and whiskey. Michael Barrile, 39, of Winchester, allegedly hit a car and a tree with his gray Toyota Corolla in separate accidents on Route 16 and drove off, witnesses told police. The accidents occurred about 3 p.m. Thursday. The accident with another car took place at the light for the pedestrian cross walk behind St. Joseph School, witnesses said.
Fog Early, Sun Later: Fog this morning is expected to make way for mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s today, according to the National Weather Service. Similar weather is expected tomorrow.

Head to Distler Performance Hall on the Tufts campus at 8 p.m. for "A Conversation with Alicia Hall Moran." Moran's performances are a combination of musical theater, opera-cabaret, art performance, and jazz.
