Serious Crash on 93; Traffic Stop Leads to Heroin Charges

Good morning, here's five things to know today:
- An accident with a tractor trailer and a car on I-93 in Medford Monday afternoon left one man in serious condition, as emergency responders had to use to jaws of life to free him from his car.
- Two Lawrence men were arrested last week after police allegedly found them with heroin and over $2,000. They were both released on personal recognizance by a district court judge the next day.
- City Council Meeting Tonight: City council returns to business from its summer off-season this week. On the agenda: discussion of the planned parking garage on Governors Avenue. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at .
- Head to Distler Performance Hall on the campus at 8 p.m. tonight to hear "Ancient Mbira Music of Zimbabwe." The concert, featuring performances by Caution Shonhai and Erica Azim, is free to those with Tufts student IDs and $10 for the general public.
- Rain Possible: There's a 50 percent chance of rain showers today, with highs expected to be in the upper-60s, according to the National Weather Service. Tomorrow: Foggy with temperatures in the mid-70s.
