UPDATE: Storm Now Expected to Bring 3 to 5 Inches of Snow to Medford
Weather service expects as much as 5 inches.

A storm Saturday and Sunday morning is now expected to bring 3 to 5 inches of snow to Medford and the rest of the Boston area, according to the National Weather Service.
On Saturday morning, the National Weather Service issued a "Winter Storm Advisory" that warned the storm would bring heavy, wet snow and strong winds, particularly Saturday night. The advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday.
The advisory said there was a potential for downed tree limbs and power outages.

The weather service also issued a "High Wind Watch," predicting wind gusts as high as 55 miles per hour.
There is also a possibility of thunder.
