Stanley Cup Coming to Medford; Post Office Hearing; Candidates Night

Good morning, here's five things to know today:

The coolest trophy in all of sports will be making an appearance in Medford. Lord Stanley's Cup will be at LoConte Rink from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 20. A donation of $20.00 will enable you to have your picture taken with the Stanley Cup.

There are too many code violators in Medford and not enough citations being written against them, according to city councilors. The council passed a resolution Tuesday asking Mayor Michael McGlynn to the City hire a "Ticketing Officer" to work in conjunction with the Building Department and Code Enforcement Officer John Bavuso.

The body of a 20-year-old man was found by and State Police in Middlesex Fells Saturday. The body was found Saturday afternoon in the woods near the entrance to the Fells off of South Border Road in Medford after police received a phone call from relatives, Middlesex County District Attorney Spokeswoman Cara O'Brien said Tuesday. The death is not considered suspicious, O'Brien said.
