Stanley Cup in Medford Today; Alleged Cyber Predator Indicted; Mystic River Celebration

Good morning, here are five things to know today:

Lord Stanley's Cup will be at LoConte Rink today from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. It's Medford native Dale Hamilton-Powers' turn with the cup today, and the Director of Administration for the Boston Bruins has decided to bring it to Medford. A donation of $20.00 will allow for a photo taken with the Cup and entrance into a "Bruins Memorabilia" raffle.

Thomas Hutchinson, 19, of Tewksbury allegedly blackmailed 15-year-old Medford girl into having sex with him. He was indicted on nine charges Tuesday, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office.

The Mystic River Celebration is scheduled for this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Condon Shell as part of the month-long Medford on the Mystic Arts Festival. There will be live music, vendors and lots of family-oriented activities.

A Somerville man has been indicted and arraigned on charges alleging he robbed three convenience stores using a handgun, including P's Variety on Central Avenue in Medford, prosecutors said. Michael Wallace, 44, of Somerville, was arraigned Tuesday in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on three counts of armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, making threats, and four counts of being a habitual offender, according to a press release from district attorney Gerry Leone.

5. Clouds and Rain, Then Sun: There's a 30 percent chance of rain this morning, followed by clouds, then a mostly sunny afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Highs are expected to be near 70 degrees.
