A couple suspected robbing a Malden cab driver by pulling a trash bag over his head were arrested at a Stop and Shop in Malden Thursday morning.
Attorney General Martha Coakley had a cancel an appearance Thursday after taking a fall outside her Medford home Wednesday. A doctor has advised her to stay off her feet for 24 hours.

In a letter to the state last week, Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn called for the project to receive funding to make it "shovel ready" in the event federal money comes available to finance construction.
Medford man will spend eight years in prison after pleading guilty to charges alleging he repeatedly abused his girlfriend over a 5-year span. Jeffrey Angelesco, 35, of Medford, pleaded guilty Wednesday to ten charges stemming from abuse of his girlfriend between 2007 and 2011, according to a press release from District Attorney Gerry Leone.
