U.S. News Ranks Tufts 29th in Nation
The annual rankings put Tufts University as the 29th best college in the U.S.
The U.S. News and World Report released its annual Best Colleges list, rating in a tie as the 29th best in its national university rankings.
Tufts was ranked 28th in last year's rankings. This year, they tied for 29th with University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, with the University of Michigan one slot ahead at number 28 and Boston College and Brandeis tied behind Tufts at 31.
Harvard topped the list, while other nearby schools also fared well. MIT ranked 5, Dartmouth ranked 11, and Boston University just missed the top 50, coming in at 53.
