We all know someone who's making a difference in this difficult time. Let's help share these amazing stories!

MEDFORD, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Vera Carroll, who nominated her husband, Joseph, a worker at Whole Foods in Arlington. He has "not missed a day of work" during the pandemic and has been picking up extra shifts for other employees that have been ill or afraid to work, Carroll said.
