Boston Wounded Vet Run Rides Through Melrose May 9
Melrose can expect motorcycles that Saturday. A whole bunch of 'em.

The sight of a 2,000-bike strong motorcade may normally lead you to think The Sons of Anarchy have rolled in to conquer your town.
But if you observe such an aberration in Melrose on Saturday, May 9, fear not. They’re only there to raise funds for wounded veterans.
The announcement dropped Tuesday that the Fifth Annual Boston Wounded Vet Run will travel through several local towns - including Melrose - on the second Saturday in May. The veritable armada of bikes - led by wounded vets in convertibles - will begin its journey at 12 p.m. in Revere at the Boston Harley Davidson, and land at Suffolk Downs at 2 p.m.
