Important Week For Melrose Begins Tonight

Swains Pond and the school budget will be the focal point of some of this week's meetings.

MELROSE, MA — This week will see some virtual meetings that could have long-term impacts for the city.

There are three meetings Monday night:

  • The Health, Education & Welfare Committee at 7. Three reappointments are on the agenda.
  • The Planning Board at 7:30. This is a continuation of the public hearing for the Swains Pond Avenue Modified Subdivision Application. See agenda.
  • The City Council at 7:45. A Resolution Honoring the Melrose Chapter of the 84 Movement-- Fighting Youth Tobacco Use in Massachusetts is on the agenda.
