State Rep.-elect Kate Lipper-Garabedian will be sworn in Wednesday, giving the 32nd Middlesex District a representative in the House for the first time in more than four months. She is scheduled to be sworn in at 12:30.

Lipper-Garabedian, of Melrose, was initially scheduled to be sworn in last Wednesday, but that was postponed due to coronavirus concerns.

The State House, like all things, has been impacted by the COVID-19 threat. It has closed down to the public in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.
