MELROSE, MA — Dozens of people took on Tuesday’s heat to gather in the basement of Incarnation Parish Tuesday night to celebrate Scouts BSA Troop 635 newest Eagle Scouts in a Court of Honor.

Michael Wagner, Peter Walsh, Harrison Brown, and Brendan Radzik all officially added their names to the list of more than 55 people who have achieved scouting’s highest honor. The four honorees earned 21 merit badges, went on countless camping trips, and each completed their own service project in order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

Wagner’s Eagle Scout project involved building picnic tables for his elementary school. Walsh designed and built a wheelchair-accessible path in Holy Child Park at St. Mary’s of the Annunciation Parish. Brown had an information kiosk installed at Mount Hood Golf Course, and Radzik built a storage shed for Winthrop Elementary School.

Each honoree was given the chance to speak at the end of their ceremony, and all four expressed appreciation for their friendship with one another. They thanked their scoutmasters Michael Murray, Kelly Sikkema, Hans Klemm, and Chris Lippert. Their official eagle neckerchiefs were placed on their uniforms by former eagles scouts.
