Melrose Coronavirus: Another Case Reported
A fourth case of COVID-19 has been reported in Melrose. Here's the latest.

MELROSE, MA — A fourth case of the new coronavirus was confirmed Wednesday in Melrose, one day after the city's first three cases were reported.
No additional information was released regarding Wednesday's case.
Mayor Paul Brodeur said in a text alert that the Health Department is working to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Melrose.

"Please do your part by staying home, only go shopping when necessary, do no hoard resources, and continue social distancing," he said.
Residents also learned Wednesday that Melrose Public Schools will be closed until at least May 4, more than a month than the original three-week timeline. Gov. Charlie Baker extended the closures statewide in an afternoon press conference.
