Melrose Farmers' Market Plans Farm To Table Tasting Event
Numerous local chefs will be on hand to cook for guests using Farmers' Market goods.

MELROSE, MA — The Melrose Farmers’ Market will host its third annual Farm To Table Tasting fundraiser next month at the Mount Hood Municipal Golf Court.
The event is set for Sept. 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Local chefs will be on hand cooking for attendees using market vendor produce, meats, fish, cheese, bread and pasta.
“It will be a great evening of mingling, eating and drinking to support the Melrose Farmers' Market and their community work,” market organizers said in an event announcement.

Participating chefs include:
- David Drew - Cambridge Brewing Company
- Suman Shah - Fork on a Road
- Lorenzo Tenreiro - T'ahpas 529 & La Qchara
- Yvette Taylor, Sara Romero, Nina Vlasic - Queen of the Pantry Personal Chef Services
Sweet Spot Bakery and Robin Peevey of Buckalews will provide desserts and other snacks.

Anyone interested in attending the event can purchase their tickets online. Tickets will also be on sale in the lead-up to the event at regularly scheduled Melrose Farmers' Markets on Thursdays between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Organizers have advised prospective guests to buy their tickets in advance as last year’s event sold out.
