From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

The Melrose High School varsity football team improved to 8-0 Friday night with a win over Wakefield. In victory, Melrose advanced to the semi-final round of the MIAA tournament.The No. 16 ranked Red Raiders knocked off the Warriors 21-0 in the Division 3 Northwest Quarterfinals at Fred Green Field.Junior running back Mike Pedrini tallied two touchdown runs for the Red Raiders, upping his season total to 14 scores.Melrose will next be in action on Friday, Nov. 6, against Wayland.
