Melrose High Grads First Without Valedictorian

MELROSE, MA - Melrose school officials had already eliminated class rankings, and for the first time did not have a valedictorian this year.

The school made the decision because of the strain and competition it places on most students, but some parents are upset, according to Fox 25.

Fox 25 interviewed a parent who said the school was bowing to political correctness and a student who called the move "soft."
