Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Portland, Maine, we are a leading curbside composting company in New England. From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

MELROSE, MA — The Department of Public Works released its spring schedule for city-wide street sweeping.The sweeping will begin on Monday, March 31 and begin at approximately 5 a.m. on weekdays. The first five days will focus on the main roads, and will cover each precinct of all seven wards as well as school parking lots and playgrounds. The schedule concludes with the sweeping of municipal parking lots beginning the week of June 2.The city has reminded residents not to park on the street on the days their streets are being swept.
