MELROSE, MA — Resident and Bishop Fenwick High School student Sophie Koles was named the recipient of the Fenwick First Award before going into her senior year this coming fall.
The peer-nominated award is presented to a student who embodies the school’s five core values: faith, integrity, relationship, scholarship, and tradition. It was first introduced by School President Thomas Nunan.
“She has good morals and is incredibly trustworthy,” the school said about Koles in a statement. “She is one of the most empathetic here, she puts herself in the shoes of others and is respected by peers and teachers.”
