Melrose Summer Stroll: Community Gathers For Downtown Celebration
The event was hosted by the Melrose Chamber of Commerce and the city of Melrose.
MELROSE, MA - Melrose’s Annual Summer Stroll returned on Friday night along Main Street.
Hosted by the Melrose Chamber of Commerce and the city of Melrose, the event drew crowds to an area between Main Street’s intersections with Upham and Grove Streets. That portion of Main Street was closed to vehicle traffic to make room for cornhole games and a schedule of live music.
This marked the ninth annual Summer Stroll, highlighting businesses in the downtown area.
The event was sponsored by the Residence at Melrose Station. It was additionally funded in part by the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts.
