MELROSE, MA — MMTV is working to help people stay informed during the coronavirus crisis. It's also working to kept frontline workers fed.

The local station — which has gone almost entirely remote — is working through its weekly Facebook show "Let's Talk Melrose, Melrose" on an initiative to help feed MelroseWakefield Hospial workers individual meals.

As of Friday, "Feed the Frontlines" has raised more than $4,000 and provided more than 350 meals for workers at the hospital and other locations. The meals are coming from local restaurants — which is a boost for the struggling small business community — and going directly to those working overtime to help the battle against COVID-19.
